It wasn’t just with us, I observed him having positive and pleasant interactions with several other guest. Not only was she good at her job she was also funny and extremely kind.you could tell she really enjoys her job and likes people!! Steve also went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our stay. I would honestly just come back to have dinner at ’s that good!! Let’s just take a minute to talk about Paula, what a true gem she is!! We had the pleasure of her checking us in and then serving us breakfast both mornings. We never left the hotel except to walk to the beach. If you’re looking for a fabulous getaway or vacay this is a perfect spot! Everyone we came in contact with went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I cannot express enough how amazing Steve and his staff were.We felt like we had a little "home away from home".
We will definitely be back! We literally walked across the beach.and were in close proximity to great restaurants and various things to do. We never felt like people were too close and although some guests opted for not wearing masks :().the staff was always wearing them. The staff (including Steve's son Luke) all went above and beyond to keep the hotel clean and well-spaced. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious and fairly priced. Pete, combining grandma’s basement with a vintage cocktail bar, with splashes of disco and cheap beer added to the mix. Our entertainment includes live music, a dance floor, karaoke nights and other events all with no cover charges. The retro neighborhood bar is unlike any other in St. Your Social Place Join us at The Embers lounge for great entertainment and food, whether you want to relax with your favorite people or meet new friends. The only thing that we were not happy with the location of the room (right behind the bar and kitchen).However.within hours, our stuff was transferred into a new room. Pete, a vintage cocktail bar & lounge, is now open at 2420 Central Avenue in the Grand Central District. Any time we asked for suggestions (especially regarding dining), they went above and beyond to find us options.
From the moment we arrived, Steve and Brie created such a welcome vibe. We were a bit skeptical about traveling, especially during Labor Day.
